I know what you’re thinking, but don’t get me wrong. When I talk about living without a job, I don’t mean living without money.

And no, it’s not about not producing anything, or living out of someone else’s effort, either.

And no, this article isn’t about how to use any countries welfare system. 

When I say that I can teach you how to live without a job I’m talking about building a system where you make an income mostly without trading your time for money like a 9 to 5 job.

I mean, let’s be honest: who wouldn’t like to earn money in their sleep?

Is It Possible To Live Without A Job?

Living without a job is possible. But since very little, we’re trained to think the only way to make money is by working for someone else.

Study. Get a job. Climb the corporate ladder. Retire.

Sounds familiar?

The truth is, making a living without a job is not only possible but much easier than you probably think. Lots of people do it.

What if I told you that I built a 6-figure monthly income in less than five years?

Before that, every day when I was home from work, I headed to my closet, opened a little door, and went to…

No, not Narnia.

It was a weird cold basement with a desk where I spent hours creating content, just to not hear back from anyone.

In fact, my first success was by accident.

Wait, don’t go, see what happened next. I published a boring video on how to read stock charts.

Months after that, I realized that that video had blown up YouTube, with thousands of visits. I was amazed. I’d have never imagined that result, for sure.

One year later, I had a company buy me a car. Yep, it’s true.

But that’s another story. The point is: It is possible to live without a job. Lots of people do it. I do it. And you can do it, too.

No years of experience required. No tech expertise.

I will tell you the specific and actionable process that will take you from $0 to thousands a month. No job.

Invest: Buy Crypto

Investing is not as hard as it seems. The best way to do it with little to no experience these days is by buying cryptocurrencies, like Bitcoin.

A cryptocurrency is basically a virtual asset stored in a computerized encrypted system. You can buy and sell as you’d do with stocks.

Currently, there are over five thousand cryptocurrencies. And they’re doing great.

Although cryptos have more variability than traditional forms of investment, they’ve also been growing steadily for years, now.

Bitcoin, for example, grew exponentially in 2020. On January 1st, one Bitcoin was valued at $7,196, and it closed the year at almost $29,000.

This is insane! And it will continue growing steadily, as cryptocurrencies are here to stay.

How To Buy Cryptocurrencies?

For buying cryptocurrencies you’ll need two things:

1. A wallet: this is where you’ll store all the cryptos. It works like a bank account.
2. An exchanger: It’s a platform that works as a broker, and it’s where you’ll trade.

You can store your cryptos in the exchanger, but it’s not as secure as storing them in a wallet.

You’ve probably heard about people losing their wallet passwords. Trust me, you don’t want to be in their shoes right now.

Ready to start? Follow these steps.

1. Choose a wallet

Like in the stock market, there are many companies that do this.

As a beginner, you can use your ol’ friend Google, and be sure that within a few minutes you’ll be starting your crypto trip.

Over time and as you get more experienced with this, you’ll be able to judge if the wallet you’re using is good or not.

You can have several wallets.

2. Download the app/computer desktop version

3. Go to settings/security and protect your wallet.

Now. As I mentioned before, you’ll need an exchanger to start trading.

Same thing with the wallets, here. There are several of them and as long as you start delving into the crypto world, you’ll be able to judge which one’s best to operate.

Follow these steps to start using an exchanger for trading cryptocurrency.

1. Create an exchanger account

Depending on the exchanger you choose, the homepage will be different, but it will look something like this:

2. Verify your identity

You’ll be asked for an ID, and it will take time for the company to verify it, as they need to make sure that it’s really you.

3. Buy/sell/trade

Your exchanger’s dashboard will look similar to the one above.

Once the company checks that you’re a real person, authorized to operate, you’ll be able to start operating.

4. Send your Crypto to your wallet

You’ll find your Bitcoin address as a written and QR code in your wallet app.

In your exchanger account, go to the Send/receive option

Copy your wallet address in the case, select the USD or the crypto amount you want to send, and then hit continue.

I know what you’re thinking. You don’t know anything about Real Estate, so you can’t make a profit from it.

Once you get into it, it’s mind-blowing, because, really, you won’t believe that you can earn that much money without dedicating much of your time.

What Is Affiliate Marketing?

Affiliate marketing is basically when you partner with a brand to sell their products and they pay you a percentage of the profit.

Digitally, it works like this:

1. You sign up for a company’s affiliate program.
2. They give you a personalized link to their website.
3. You include that link in your content and when people click that link and buy from them, you get a profit.

Want to know the top reason why affiliate marketing is one of the best ways to make money online?

Because you create content today that’ll be on the internet forever. That means that as long as people keep consuming your content and clicking your links, you’ll make money.

That can be days, months, years.

Where To Place Affiliate Links

So, there are many different affiliate programs, you just have to choose the ones that you like the most and that’ll bring you more money with less effort.

There’s this false belief that you need to have coding experience or be especially tech-savvy to make money on the internet. But guess what.

You don’t.

You can always invest in someone that creates your webpage and even writers for your content. Or you can perfectly earn money through affiliate marketing without a website.

Here are some ways to make an income using affiliate marketing.

Pinterest

Ahhh, Pinterest. That place where we spend hours looking for the perfect outfit or inspirational quotes.

Isn’t it? Actually, it’s more than that.

Although at first sight, Pinterest seems to be a social network, it truly works more as a search engine.

And it turns out to be an extremely friendly platform to place affiliate links. People want to know where to buy the stuff they see.

So follow these steps:

1. Choose a niche you like. It could be home decor, interior plants, bicycles, whatever you want.

2. Then start creating pins around that. It doesn’t need to be the greatest content ever, it just has to be attractive to the eyes. Find pictures of what you’re trying to sell, or even take them yourself.

3. Search for affiliate programs for the products in your niche.

4. Generate as many posts as you can, and include affiliate links on them.
5. Type the keyword in the search box and see the suggestions below. Use those words in the description of the picture. That way, more people will find your content.

So now you remember about that time you bought the Jean you’re wearing right now by… scrolling on Pinterest?

YouTube

Making money on YouTube with affiliate marketing is another highly profitable way of generating an income without a job.

It works the same way as with Pinterest, but instead of pins, you’ll create videos.

Now, you may be wondering how to make youtube videos for affiliate marketing. Ok, let’s dive a little more into the process.

Once you found a niche, type in the product/brand name in youtube’s search bar and you’ll find the user’s intent when they search for that term.

Create content around those keywords and include the affiliate links on the videos.

Another way to do this is by making a little research about which problems potential clients of your niche are trying to solve.

So if we take the Grammarly example, we can create a video around “how to fix grammar mistakes.”

When people search for a solution to grammar mistakes, they watch your video and see that they can use Grammarly. They click on your affiliate link and you make a profit.

Sounds good, right? Simple and great way to earn money without a job.

Blog

Well, having a blog can be a great source of income. It’s also one of the most usual ways to make money without a job.

As I mentioned before, don’t just skip this part because you don’t have coding experience. I’m serious when I tell you that you don’t need to be a techie to earn money with a blog.

You can always get your site set up for a few bucks, and have someone write the posts that will bring you money.

But let me tell you something: WordPress is really friendly for non-techies, and with a good tutorial you can set up your blog in just minutes.

Did you know that email can be a huge moneymaker?

It’s called email marketing, and it’s a very good strategy to get people to click your affiliate links.

Basically, it works like this:

• You get your potential client’s email addresses
• You send them content with your affiliate links
• Every time they make a purchase, again, you make money.

This is a strategy that you can apply together with any of the previous channels: Youtube, blog, social media.

Now, you know when you’re on the street and a salesperson approaches you, and you happily give them your email address so they start sending you offers?

That’s true, people don’t love giving away their email addresses just because. You’ll have to use a lead magnet.

A lead magnet is a resource that you’re giving away for free in exchange for… tataaan! Yes, their email addresses!

A free training, a discount, an ebook, etc. It depends a lot on the kind of your niche’s audience.

Once you have what you need, set up your email marketing strategy:

• Create content for a series of emails, and include the affiliate links.
• Make an email list with the addresses of your audience.
• Create an automated process for people to get your emails.
• Repeat.

Affiliate Marketing: A Few Considerations

Now, these are the essential aspects to keep in mind before you choose an affiliate program:

Commission: some brands have a very low commission %, so if you’re just starting out and don’t have a huge audience, you’re probably not going to earn much from an affiliate program with a low commission.

• Value of the products: I always try to pick high-value products. Simple math. If the product’s value is $1 I need to bring in 1000 people to make a $1000 purchase. If the product is $500, 2 people are enough.
• Cookie duration: basically, a cookie is a file stored in your browser to identify you as a user when you navigate through the internet. Different sites have different cookie duration. In affiliate marketing, cookies have a huge relevance because they’re what shows that a certain user went to a page through your link. The longer the duration of the cookie, the longer that person will be identified on that site as sent by you.

Where To Start With Affiliate Marketing

Starting as an affiliate marketer can be tricky, especially because there are lots of “gurus” on the internet that know nothing about it, so it’s easy to get confused.

The more streams you have, the less risk of losing all your sources of income due to a problem with one of them.

To diversify your income streams means that you’ll earn money from different sources.

The most common, are:

• Earned income (paychecks, salary, etc.)
• Rents
• Side hustle/business income
• Interests
• Investments

Now let’s say that you’re doing really good with affiliate marketing, for instance, but you’re using only one affiliate program.

And suddenly the owner of the program changes the terms and conditions, or simply decides to cancel it.

Either your profit will fall down fast or it will just disappear. Then you’d need to find a new source of income fast.

That doesn’t look good, right?

A way to prevent this is by diversifying your income, creating many income streams.

How To Diversify Your Income (Effectively)

Ok, so it’s not that you have all the time in the world to be sitting on your computer taking care of your money.

I get it. The whole point of learning how to live without a job is to get more time for yourself and the important things in your life.

So until now, I’ve been talking about different ways you can make a living without a job. If you pay attention, they are all ways to generate passive income.

Maybe you’re familiar with the concept of passive income, but just in case you don’t know exactly what I’m talking about, here’s a simple definition:

Basically, having a source of passive income means to make a living without actually trading your time for money, like a 9 to 5 job.

Meaning, you make money while you sleep. Or while you go to the bathroom. How cool is that? (Don’t blame me for the images on your mind right now).

Make sure most of your income streams come from a passive source, and you’re done.
